Motto Yoga

I have practiced yoga at Motto for years. It’s a very inviting space and I’ve felt welcomed there since day one. The in-studio heat & humidity are absolutely perfect. It’s very clean and well taken care of. The classes are challenging and fun! I had the privilege of attending Motto’s 200 hour yoga teacher training back in 2021 and have since joined their teaching staff! The only thing I love more than practicing at Motto is teaching there! The owners take care of their teachers and make sure we have what we need to empower and guide our students. If you haven’t checked this place out, here’s your sign! First class is always free!

I’m currently in transition with my job so I’m traveling a lot and my new job has brought tremendous pressure. Motto yoga has been a invaluable outlet for me while I’m in Arizona. Dave the owner treats you like a long lost friend when you walk through the doors and makes you feel so welcome. The classes are tough and the instructors are all confident. You will sweat and you will be challenged in class at least thats the way but the feeling afterwards is incredible. Knowing that the classes are going to be a struggle puts me in the moment whenever I’m on the mat at Motto.

Here's the thing...when I'm starting out from having some personal trauma and being out of shape to trying, making an effort, and moving to the area recently, I'd like to think people care and are a little more patient at these establishements. When I saw "Beginner", I was hopeful and excited ...but then...they don't really mean that. It's more INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED. My first class was recommended for the Journey 60 class. And this was hard for me- the instructor was too fast.. Sorry I'm not there yet, but I tried and got through it. Maybe we're supposed to Google the terms they use before going to this "Beginner to...Or all levels" because there I was, putting my best effort in, sweating like a horse and I had no idea what the terms or positions were. I'm trying to pay attention and then also looking around to see if I was close to what was supposed to be done. So of course, I wasn't doing most things correctly as a completely-new-to-yoga person and then I'm wondering if I'm injuring myself from me looking around while most people appear to be pros and know what they're doing. I felt stupid to say the least and will probably not go back. I'll try to find another place that offers classes for REAL BEGINNERS.

I became a member recently and I can’t tell you enough how much change I feel in my body, mind & soul… It’s like everything i’ve ever needed. They keep everything so clean and everyone there is such a good vibe… non judgmental at all.. You go at your own pace. LOVE IT! Thank you Motto Yoga for being wonderful!

My favorite hot yoga place I’ve been to in Gilbert/QC area! The owners and staff are all amazing. You can’t go wrong here, I love it!
